New Castle, PA – One Seriously Injured in Rear-End Crash on New Butler RdPa Accident News
New Castle, PA (June 12, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a rear-end crash that took place on a roadway in New Castle on Saturday night, June 11.
According to Shenango Township Police, the accident happened around 11:30 p.m. at 3000 New Butler Road. Two vehicles were traveling in front of Steel City Sports Bar & Grille when they became involved in a rear-end collision. One of the vehicles rolled over as a result of the accident, sustaining severe damages.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the rolled vehicle was trapped and had to be extricated. The party was then flown to a local hospital by medical helicopter. Two other people involved in the accident were evaluated at the scene but were not hospitalized.
Two lanes of traffic were open during the clean-up process and the vehicles were quickly moved off to the side so traffic could return to normal.
