Murrysville, PA – One Injured in Tractor-Trailer Collision at PA-22 & Harrison City Rd

Murrysville, PA (December 6, 2022) – One person sustained injuries as a result of a tractor-trailer collision that took place at an intersection in Murrysville on Tuesday morning, December 6.

According to Murrysville Police, the accident happened around 10:10 a.m. at the intersection of PA-22 and Harrison City Road. Police confirmed that a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle became involved in a collision with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. Both vehicles were extensively damaged due to the accident.

Several Murrysville responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One driver involved in the accident had to be extricated from their vehicle by fire crews. The party was then rushed to a local hospital for treatment, though their condition is not yet known.

Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area until approximately 12:45 p.m. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible so traffic could return to normal.
