Pedestrian Accidents in Pennsylvania

5/8 Muhlenberg Twp, PA – Frank Mastropiero Killed in Pedestrian Crash on N Fifth St Hwy There are many standard differences between pedestrian accidents and car accidents on Pennsylvania roads. However, the biggest difference to note is that pedestrians have no protection while drivers of vehicles have immense protection in the event of an accident. This is why, when a pedestrian is involved in a collision, they are far more likely to become seriously injured than those in large vehicles. In some cases, pedestrians even lose their lives in these horrific accidents. In 2020 alone, approximately 145 people were killed in Pennsylvania pedestrian accidents due to negligent acts.
