Mt Pleasant, PA – Brandalyn Pomaibo Killed in Fatal Crash on Water StLawPaWriter
Mt. Pleasant, PA (September 22, 2021) – At 7:15 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, September 21, a woman was killed in a fatal crash in Mt. Pleasant.
According to Westmoreland County Police, the accident happened on Water Street. A pickup truck and a passenger vehicle were traveling in the area when they collided head-on due to reasons that are not yet known. The passenger vehicle was left completely destroyed as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene. It was confirmed that 35-year-old Brandalyn Pomaibo was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. A man was extricated from the passenger vehicle and was rushed to the hospital by medical helicopter. His current condition is not yet known. The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene. Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the scene.
