Manheim, PA – Rollover Accident with Injuries in WB Lanes of US-30
Manheim, PA (July 21, 2022) – Two people were hurt in a serious car accident that took place on a major roadway in Manheim on Thursday morning, July 21.
Manheim Police confirmed that the accident happened in the early morning hours in the westbound lanes of US-30 around the area of the New Holland Pike and US-322. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when they collided, causing one of the involved vehicles to overturn. The vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A total of two victims were trapped inside the vehicle that rolled over. The parties were trapped and had to be extricated by fire crews. The parties were then hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police were able to reopen the roadway within hours.
