Manheim, PA (May 23, 2022) – Around 2 p.m. on Monday afternoon, May 23, a man was killed in a construction accident that took place in Manheim.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 2 p.m. at the Lancaster County Club. Several employees were working at the club through an employer identified as Mottin Golf Course Renovations. Due to reasons that are not yet known, a male employee became involved in a construction-related accident.
Local responders, including Manheim paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A man in his 20s from Media, Pennsylvania, was severely injured in the accident. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to these injuries. No other employees were hurt in the accident.
The area was closed down for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene and investigate.
