Man Killed in Fiery Middletown Car Crash on Bucks Road
Middletown, Pennsylvania (August 20, 2017) – One man died after the car he was driving crashed into a pickup on Bucks County Road on Saturday morning.
The incident happened at about 2 a.m. August 19, at the intersection of Bristol Road and Red Rose Way in Middletown.
According to the police, the car had its headlights turned off when it rear-ended a pickup truck.
The car caught fire after the collision whereas the pickup suffered a major rear damage. The truck’s rear axle was found at least 200 feet away from the scene.
The driver of the car died while the pickup driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The police have not yet released the identities of the victims of the fatal collision.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
