Man, 54, Seriously Injured after Being Dragged By Car in Mantua

Mantua, Pennsylvania (September 10, 2017) – A male pedestrian aged 54 years was reportedly in critical condition after being dragged by a car in West Philadelphia on Wednesday, according to police.

The incident occurred at about 8:45 p.m. September 6, on Brown Street near Holly in Mantua section of Philadelphia.

The driver told police that he did not hit the unidentified man. He claimed that the victim was already on the road.

The victim’s identity had not yet been disclosed.

It is not known whether the man may have been hit by another car.
