Macungie, PA – Alexander Zarnas Killed in Bicycle Accident on Mtn RdLawPaWriter
Macungie, PA (March 12, 2021) – Around 5 p.m.. on Tuesday night, March 9, a man was killed in a bicycle accident in Macungie.
According to police, the accident took place at 6700 Mountain Road when 36-year-old Alexander Zarnas was riding his bicycle in the area and was struck by a 2015 BMW.
Zarnas was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital with critical injuries. However, on Thursday night, he was pronounced dead.
The 48-year-old driver of the BMW was not injured and remained at the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
