Lower Nazareth Twp, PA (October 23, 2019) – Around 6 p.m. on Monday night, police confirmed that a young boy was badly injured in a pedestrian accident in Lower Nazareth Township.
The accident happened in an unspecified area of Lower Nazareth when a man backed over the boy with his lawnmower. The boy was identified as a 6-year-old child.
The child’s leg was trapped in one of the blades when he was struck by the lawnmower. The man lifted up the lawnmower and was able to apply a tourniquet to stop the bleeding until paramedics arrived.
The boy still suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to the Lehigh Valley Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
No other information is known but the investigation continues.
