Lititz, PA – Four Injured in Two-Vehicle Head-on Collision on Route 322

Lititz, PA (June 21, 2022) – Four people were injured in a serious two-vehicle head-on collision that took place in Lititz on Monday night, June 20.

According to local officials, the accident happened on US Route 322. A 55-year-old woman from Philipsburg was traveling westbound in the wrong lane of traffic when she crashed head-on into another driver. Both of the drivers were in SUVs, which sustained severe damage as a result of the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The woman who was driving in the wrong lane was rushed to the hospital by medical helicopter. The other driver, as well as a toddler and an adult passenger in their vehicle, were also hospitalized. They are expected to recover from their injuries.

Due to the severity of the accident, the highway was blocked in the area until 11:15 p.m. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
