Motorcycle Accidents in Pennsylvania
Because motorcyclists have few protections in the event of an accident involving a larger vehicle, they are more likely to cause catastrophic harm. Many victims are seriously injured or even killed in motorcycle accidents every year throughout all of Pennsylvania. In 2020, in fact, statistics showed that approximately 3,398 motorcycle accidents happened in total. Out of these accidents, approximately 215 individuals lost their lives. Drivers who share our roads with motorcyclists are always expected to pay close attention to the roads around them in an effort to protect motorcyclist’s lives. However, drivers continue to engage in reckless acts that lead to these accidents every year. As a result, families may end up in a position where a wrongful death claim becomes necessity.
Motorcycle accidents are so often deadly due to the fact that motorcyclists are incredibly vulnerable in an accident.
