Lebanon, PA – Tonya Price Killed in Fatal Train Crash Near Seventh St

Lebanon, PA (March 15, 2022) – A woman was killed in a fatal train crash that took place in Lebanon on Sunday afternoon, March 13.

According to Lebanon City Police, the accident happened on the train tracks in the area of Seventh Street around 12:30 p.m. Witnesses told police that a woman was walking south on Seventh when she started to cross the train tracks. A train was traveling westbound and did not stop in time, slamming into the pedestrian.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, identified as 61-year-old Tonya Price, was severely injured in the accident. She was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to these injuries. Nobody on the train sustained injuries in the accident.

The area was blocked at the train tracks for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing. Police will update with more information as it is available.
