Fatal Train Accidents in Pennsylvania
Trains are some of the largest modes of transportation in the state of Pennsylvania, which means that they are capable of causing some of the most extensive harm in the event of an accident. Since 1997, it was reported that approximately 7,200 pedestrians have been killed in train accidents throughout the U.S. Each year, an average of 500 people are killed in these horrific accidents in the country. Pedestrians have no protection from harm in the midst of a train accident, which means that the results will typically be catastrophic or fatal.
