Lebanon, PA – Man Seriously Injured in Two-Car Accident on PA-422

Lebanon, PA (March 18, 2022) – At 9 a.m. on Thursday morning, March 17, a man was seriously injured in a two-car accident that took place in Lebanon.

According to local officials, the accident happened on PA-422 around the area of Hill Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided with one another. One of the vehicles was identified as a red SUV and the other was a black sports car. The sports car went down an embankment off the side of the road, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. A 76-year-old man was seriously injured and taken to reading Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Nobody else sustained injuries in the accident.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues. Police will update with more information as it is available.
