Lancaster, PA – Six People Injured in Car Crash at Lancaster County IntersectionLawPaWriter
Lancaster, PA (October 5, 2021) – At 3:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, October 2, a serious car crash took place at an unidentified intersection in Lancaster.
According to the Northern Lancaster Regional Police Department, the accident happened at a Lancaster intersection. The driver of a Chevy Equinox did not stop at an intersection, traveling through and crashing into a Ford F-150 pickup truck. The Ford went off the side of the road and into a field where it overturned.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two adults, a 3-year-old, and a 5-month-old child were injured in the Ford. The adult driver and a passenger inside the SUV were also injured. The victims were all taken to local hospitals, though their conditions are not yet known.
The driver of the SUV was cited by police after running the stop sign and driving carelessly.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
