Laceyville, PA (September 2, 2020) – On Sunday afternoon, August 30, a motorcycle accident took place at an intersection in Laceyville.

State Police confirmed that the collision happened at the intersection of PA-367 and Board Road when a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided head-on at the one-lane bridge.

Police confirmed that 19-year-old Addison Hall was operating a motorcycle and exiting the bridge headed southbound while a 2017 Hyundai Elantra was entering headed northbound.

The two vehicles collided on the bridge, ejecting both of the motorcycle riders. The two victims were airlifted to local hospitals to be treated for their serious injuries. Police confirmed that Hall was listed in serious condition while the other passenger, 46-year-old Florence Murray, was listed in critical condition.

The driver of the Elantra was identified as 24-year-old Atkinson Canfield, who was not injured as a result of the accident.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.

No further details have been released but State Police continue their investigation into the collision.
