Juniata Park, PA (March 31, 2019) – Around 2:00 a.m. yesterday, March 30th, police responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident at a local intersection.
Police arrived at the intersection of East Wyoming Avenue and Reach Street, where they found that the driver of a red car left the scene of a hit-and-run accident that led to injuries.
A pedestrian man in his 30s was struck by a vehicle at the intersection when he was trying to cross the street. He was taken to the Temple University Hospital where he has since been listed in serious condition.
Police believe that the vehicle that struck the victim was an Acura, which has certainly been left with front-end damage. The vehicle was last seen driving away from the crash by witnesses. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to call local authorities.
