Irwin, PA (January 14, 2021) – Around 1:28 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, January 14, a man was injured in a pedestrian accident in Irwin.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Lenhart Avenue in front of a Housing Authority complex in the area. A male pedestrian was walking in the area when he was struck by a vehicle driving in the area. The vehicle allegedly remained at the scene of the crash.
The pedestrian, who has not yet been fully identified, was seriously injured in the accident. He was taken by ambulance to Forbes Hospital for treatment. His condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area while police cleared the scene.
