Holmes, PA (February 4, 2023) – At 1 a.m. on the morning of Friday, February 3, a bus accident with injuries took place in Holmes.

According to Delaware County Police, the accident happened at the intersection of MacDade Boulevard and Maple Avenue. A SEPTA bus was traveling in the area when the driver lost control of the bus, causing it to collide with two utility poles in the area. The bus was badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Several responders, including Holmes paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Three passengers on the bus were injured. The victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

A large portion of the road was blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
