Truck Accidents in Pennsylvania
Tractor trailers are some of the largest vehicles on our roads in Pennsylvania and beyond. This means that when an accident occurs involving one of these vehicles, it can lead to catastrophic damages. In 2015, it was reported that 7,465 truck accidents happened in Pennsylvania, leading to 130 fatalities and many more injuries. Though truck drivers are supposed to be some of the safest drivers on our roads, truck accidents still happen every single day within the state as truck drivers are driving from one destination to the next. If you have been hurt in a truck accident that is not your fault, you should speak with an attorney that you can trust.
The aftermath of a truck collision can be a challenging thing to face, especially if you have never been involved in a truck accident in the past. The injuries that stem from these accidents tend to be incredibly severe due to the size of trucks. These include some of the following:
- Spinal cord injuries
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Organ damage
- Broken bones
It can be a long road to recovery after you have sustained injuries. You may have to spend time recovering in the hospital or away from the workplace. This is why you should speak with a Hellertown truck accident attorney as soon as possible.
