Hatfield Twp, PA – Boy Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Bethlehem Pke & Walnut St
Hatfield Township, PA (June 30, 2023) – At 9:30 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, June 28, a minor was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Hatfield Township.
According to Hatfield Township Police Department officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Bethlehem Pike and Walnut Street. Police confirmed that a male child was attempting to cross the street when a Hyundai struck him in front of the local Wawa. It is believed that the driver remained on scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The child was rushed to the hospital with traumatic injuries. He was tragically pronounced dead while there. Nobody else was hurt as a result of the crash.
