Hatfield, PA – One Killed in Fatal Car Accident at Bethlehem Pke & Bergey Rd

Hatfield, PA (May 18, 2023) – Around 10:40 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, May 17, one person was killed, and others were injured in a Hatfield car accident.

According to the Hatfield Township Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Bethlehem Pike and Bergey Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles were involved in a collision after entering the intersection at the same time due to reasons that are not yet known. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A total of three people were severely injured as a result of the accident. They were rushed to Grand View Hospital Trauma Center. One of the victims, who has not yet been identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the hospital.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
