Harrisburg, PA – Injuries Reported in Car Crash on I-83 Near Queen St

Harrisburg, PA (April 8, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place on a highway in Harrisburg on Thursday night, April 7.

According to Harrisburg Police, the accident happened at 9:35 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-83 around the area of Queen Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages as a result of the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their unknown injuries.

The roadway was blocked in northbound lanes of traffic for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
