This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm in the event of an accident, especially when a large vehicle is involved. Between 2012 and 2020, it was reported on average that over 158 pedestrians were killed in fatal accidents. If you have been seriously injured in a pedestrian accident that is not your fault, it is crucial that you speak with an attorney as soon as possible.
