Glenolden, PA – One Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Chester Pike

Glenolden, PA (November 30, 2023) – A pedestrian accident reported on Wednesday morning in Delaware County claimed one person’s life during the early morning hours. The crash was reported to law enforcement at around 6:00 a.m. on November 28.

According to reports provided by local news sources, two pedestrians were crossing Ashland Avenue at the intersection of Chester Pike during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, they were both struck by a pickup truck, which was heading south on the roadway. A 65-year-old woman was fatally injured in the crash. She was immediately pronounced deceased by responding law enforcement officers. A 36-year-old woman was injured in the accident. She was transported to Crozer Chester Medical Center for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
