Franconia Township, PA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on E Township Line Rd near Cowpath Rd & Penn Ave

Franconia Township, PA (July 13, 2022) – A motorcyclist lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Franconia Township on Monday. On July 11, the police and firefighters were notified that a collision occurred on East Township line Road without required assistance.

Preliminary investigations from local police show that a 28-year-old motorcyclist was traveling along East Township line Road on a Kawasaki disease 650. For unknown reasons, the motorcycle collided with a Hyundai Santa Fe in the area of Cowpath Road and Penn Avenue just after 10 p.m.

The motorcyclist sustained significant injuries as a result of the accident. He was rushed to a local hospital for emergency medical care. Authorities confirmed that the victim passed away from his injuries after arriving.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
