Bicycle Accidents in Pennsylvania
Bicycle accidents do not happen as commonly as other accidents on Pennsylvania roads but, when they do occur, they tend to lead to some of the most traumatic results. Bicyclists are more likely than other parties to lose their lives in accidents due to the fact that they have few protections from harm against motor vehicles. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, approximately 19 people lost their lives in bicycle accidents in just 2014 alone. These numbers have been growing over the years as more and more individuals choose this mode of transportation.
It is never easy to lose a loved one in a horrific accident that was not their fault. Unfortunately, this is the reality for many families every year in the state of Pennsylvania.
