Exton, PA (September 11, 2020) – Around 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, September 10, a pedestrian accident took place in Exton.

Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of Exton Bypass near the area of South Whitford Road. The accident took place when multiple vehicles collided, including a box truck. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was then struck by one or more vehicles.

The victim was immediately taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries. Their current condition is not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for a period of time until police cleared the scene.

Pennsylvania State Police continues its investigation into the accident.
