Etna, PA – One Injured in Truck Crash at Kittanning St & Rte 8LawPaWriter
Etna, PA (June 2, 2021) – On Tuesday evening, June 1, one person was injured in a truck crash at an intersection in Etna.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Kittanning Street and Route 8. The driver of a garbage truck was traveling through the intersection when the driver experienced a mechanical issue. The truck slammed into a home at the corner of the intersection, which led to damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. Two people were inside of the truck, one of which was injured. The injured victim had to extricate themselves due to the severity of the crash.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a short period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
