Erie, PA – Officer Injured in Car Crash at 23rd St and Liberty StLaw Pa
Erie, PA (June 4, 2020) – Around 11:30 p.m. last night, June 3, an officer was injured in a car crash that took place at an Erie intersection.
The accident took place at the intersection of 23rd Street and Liberty Street involving a police cruiser and a civilian vehicle.
The police cruiser was headed south on Liberty at the intersection when the driver of a black Audi failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the police car. The Audi then spun out and struck a parked Buick.
The police officer and the driver of the Audi were both taken to the hospital with injuries. However, their conditions are not yet known.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
