Easton, PA (March 28, 2020) – Around 7 p.m. on Thursday night, one person was killed in a fatal collision involving a motorcycle at an Easton intersection.
The accident allegedly took place at the intersection of Philadelphia Road and Williams Street when a motorcycle and SUV collided with one another.
The motorcyclist was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital but, while there, he was pronounced deceased due to his injuries.
Police have said that the driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and was not injured.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing at this time.
We would like to offer our condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time.
In 2016 alone, it was reported that approximately 2.6% of all accidents in Pennsylvania were motorcycle accidents. These accidents commonly lead to catastrophic and even fatal results due to the fact that motorcyclists have few protections from harm. The aftermath of a fatal accident can be difficult for family members to handle. This is why they are urged to speak with a wrongful death attorney in their time of need.
