Easton, PA – Douglas Neppes Injured in Motorcycle Accident on PA-33LawPaWriter
Easton, PA (July 25, 2021) – At 10:20 a.m. on Sunday morning, July 25, a man was injured in a serious motorcycle accident in Easton.
According to Pennsylvania State Police deputies, the accident happened on PA-33 around the area of Main Street. Police confirmed that 33-year-old Douglas Neppes was riding a motorcycle in the area when he came upon a work zone and had to brake. A 23-year-old identified as 23-year-old David Zdziarski was in a Chevrolet Silverado and slammed into the back of the motorcycle.
Neppes, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from his motorcycle onto the road. He was found unconscious by paramedics but was transported to St. Luke’s University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. His current condition is not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of PA-33 was closed down in the area for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
