E Berlin, PA – John Sharp Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Peepytown RdPa Accident News
East Berlin, PA (March 29, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon, March 27, a man was killed in a motorcycle accident at an intersection in East Berlin.
According to Adams County officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Peepytown Road and East Berlin Road. The driver of a Rav4 made a left turn at the intersection, striking a Lincoln MKZ. The impact was so forceful that the Lincoln crossed over the center line, causing a collision with a motorcycle.
There were two people on the motorcycle, identified as 74-year-old John Sharp and passenger Deborah Carr. Carr was flown to the hospital with serious injuries. Sharp was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. An 8-month-old in the Lincoln suffered from minor injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
