E Berlin, PA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash at PA-94 and Lake Meade RdLaw Pa
East Berlin, PA (July 30, 2020) – Around 5:24 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, one person was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash at an East Berlin intersection.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident occurred at the intersection of PA-94 and Lake Meade Road.
Police confirmed that 19-year-old Tucker Byers was driving his Chevy Silverado and was stopped in the southbound lane of PA-94 waiting behind another vehicle. The vehicle in front of him was attempting to make a left turn onto Lake Meade Road.
A 17-year-old from Maryland was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle traveling southbound on US-94 when it was involved in a collision with Silverado for reasons that are still under investigation. First responders were immediately dispatched to the scene and attempted CPR on the victim but he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Byers and his passenger were not injured in the accident.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
