According to authorities, a tractor trailer traveled southbound when a passenger vehicle collided with it head-on. When the paramedics arrived, they found the 24-year-old female driver of the passenger vehicle in critical condition. They transported her to a trauma center for treatment. The 55-year-old driver of the tractor did not obtain any injuries. The police are currently investigating the accident, but they claim the woman in the passenger vehicle was speeding and lost control, which caused the crash.
We are sorry to hear that a woman is suffering from critical injuries after being involved in this accident. We wish her a fully recovery.
Recent studies show that in 2017, 40,000 people suffered fatal injuries after being involved in vehicle accidents in the United States. The leading cause of most of these accidents is driver’s error, which includes speeding, driving under the influence, conversing with passengers, driving fatigued, and more.
Fortunately, no fatalities resulted from this crash. Once the police finish their investigation, there’s a possibility that a personal injury lawsuit could be filed with the help of an attorney.
