Duquesne, PA – Motorcycle Accident at Route 837 and Library PlLaw Pa
Duquesne, PA (August 21, 2020) – Last evening, August 20, a motorcycle accident involving a bus happened in Duquesne.
According to officials, the accident took place between the motorcyclist and the driver of a Port Authority bus at the intersection of Route 837 and Library Place around 9 p.m. Police confirmed that the collision took place when both vehicles entered the intersection but police have not yet confirmed any other circumstances leading up to the accident.
The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was taken to UPMC – Presbyterian with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the bus was not injured.
The roadway was closed down in the area for an extended period of time. The roadway was completely reopened by 10:15 p.m.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
