Duncannon, PA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash Involving Train on Water St

Duncannon, PA (November 27, 2020) – Around 3 a.m. on Thursday morning, November 26, a fatal pedestrian crash took place in Duncannon.

Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that the accident took place on the railroad tracks near the area of Water Street. An unidentified woman was walking in the area when she was struck by a train for reasons that are not fully known.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. The woman was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

An area of the railroad tracks was blocked in the area for some time following the accident.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
