Douglass Twp., PA – Two Killed in Rt. 100 Crash near Jackson Rd

Douglass Twp., PA (October 25, 2023) – A fatal crash reported on Tuesday morning in Douglass Township claimed the lives of two individuals, according to law enforcement.

The incident occurred at around 6:15 a.m. on October 24.

According to reports, a black Nissan Frontier pickup truck and a second pickup truck collided on Route 100 near Jackson Road.

Two people suffered severe injuries in the crash.

One of the involved victims, 64-year-old Raymond Hookway of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The second victim, 32-year-old Francis Kiefer of Barto, Pennsylvania, was transported to Pottstown-Tower Health, where he was pronounced deceased in the emergency room.

At this time, the police department is investigating.
