Unfortunately, car accidents occur more than they should due to the number one cause being negligent driving. Actions like utilizing a cellphone, not paying attention to the road, driving under the influence, and speeding are all examples of negligence. Officials state that speeding occurred in this accident, which contributed to the crash. It’s unknown which car drove above the speed limit; however, investigators will determine who is liable at fault.
Depending on what investigators find, multiple lawsuits could be filed, including a wrongful death lawsuit if the other driver is deemed liable for the crash.
