Denver, PA – Two-Vehicle Collision into Home at Cocalico Rd & PA-897Pa Accident News
Denver, PA (October 15, 2021) – At 7:15 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, October 14, a two-vehicle collision occurred at an intersection in Denver involving a home.
According to Lancaster County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Cocalico Road and PA-897. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. The vehicles were identified as a Subaru WRX and a Dodge Ram. The two vehicles then went off the side of the road, where they struck a home in the area. The vehicles caught on fire but the occupants were able to get out in time.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The driver of the Subaru was taken to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The driver and passenger in the Dodge were treated for minor injuries at the scene but were not hospitalized.
Ten people inside the multi-family home were displaced due to the house catching on fire. They were not injured in the accident.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
