Delta, PA – Donald Taylor Killed in Head-on Collision on Woodbine Rd

Delta, PA (March 6, 2023) – Around 2:24 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, March 6, a man was killed in a fatal head-on collision on a roadway in Delta.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened around 2:24 p.m. at 6900 Woodbine Road. Police confirmed that a Nissan Rogue was headed south on Woodbine when it swerved so that the driver could attempt to avoid a Dodge Caravan in the opposite direction. The vehicles, however, collided head-on into each other.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the Rogue, identified as 56-year-old Donald Taylor, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Both occupants inside the Caravan were injured and identified as an adult and a 7-month-old child. They were hospitalized and are expected to recover.

The roadway was completely blocked in the area of the accident. Police urged those in the area to avoid the road until the scene was fully cleared.

No further details have been released, but Pennsylvania State Police continue their investigation.
