Cumberland Co., PA (November 12, 2023) – A crash involving multiple vehicles occurred in Cumberland County, leaving at least one person injured.

At around 4:30 p.m. on November 10, Pennsylvania State Police troopers and firefighters were called to the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Interstate 81.

Law enforcement reports indicate that at least two tractor-trailers and multiple other vehicles collided on the northbound side of the interstate. The incident prompted officials to shut down the roadway for more than an hour between Exit 37 at Pennsylvania State Route 233 and Exit 44 at Pennsylvania State Route 465.

Injuries were reported as a result of this collision. Emergency medical services rendered aid to the victims on site. Those who required further care were transported to local hospitals.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
