Cumberland Co, PA – Alan Beinhaur Killed in Car Crash on Good Hope Rd
Cumberland County, PA (January 13, 2024) – Per a press release from the Hampden Township Police Department, a 58-year-old man was killed in an accident that occurred on Tuesday, and he has now been identified by authorities.
A tree crashed onto the pickup truck driven by Alan Beinhaur of Dauphin County while he was traveling south on Good Hope Road, according to the Cumberland County Coroner’s Office. At 1:30 p.m., in the 600 block of Good Hope Road, police were alerted of a collision with injuries.
The tree came down as he was approaching it, local authorities stated. Beinhaur was declared deceased at the site of the accident due to major head injuries. The collision is still under investigation, and the Hampden Township Police Department is handling the case. It’s unclear if any other passengers or drivers were hurt in the incident, however.
