Crescentville, PA – Toddler Hospitalized in Pedestrian Crash on Comly St

Crescentville, PA (May 8, 2024) – According to the police, a two-year-old child was hit and seriously injured in a local Crescentville neighborhood.

Authorities say the incident occurred on Comly Street on Wednesday evening at about 5:30 p.m. EMTs rushed the child to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition, though the full extent of her injuries is unclear. It’s also unknown if the driver involved stayed at the scene. The Philadelphia Police Crash Investigation Division is now conducting an investigation into the collision and has not released further details. However, witnesses were asked to get in touch with the PPD if they had additional information.
