Early this morning, a crash in Northeast Philadelphia caused a ramp from I-95 N to Woodhaven Road to close when an accident occurred between two people. Sky cameras went over the accident scene to see several emergency vehicles blocking the ramp. There were significant damages to both vehicles, though no information has been revealed about injuries. Reports show that the crash in Northeast Philadelphia likely occurred due to a motorist driving into the ramp in the wrong direction.

Fault in an Accident

crash in Northeast PhiladelphiaAfter an accident, you may wonder who is to blame for your injuries. In multiple-vehicle accidents, it can be difficult to determine fault and place liability on any specific party. However, when it comes to two-car crashes, it is pretty easy to determine who engaged in negligent actions that led to the crash. For instance, police who arrive at the scene may be able to determine who caused the crash based on how the vehicles ended up looking or based on what witnesses have to say. Perhaps witnesses saw one driver texting and not paying attention to the roads, or somebody was weaving all over the road when they were driving.

When you have been involved in an accident with another driver, you want to do whatever it takes to retain your rights so that you can work toward your injury claim without any issues. This means gathering evidence like photographs, witness statements, a police report, and so much more – and never admitting fault because you might not be sure who caused the accident.
