Columbia, PA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Seitz Rd & Manor Church Rd
Columbia, PA (August 21, 2022) – One person tragically lost their life in a motorcycle accident that took place at a Columbia intersection on Saturday night, August 20.
Manor Township Police confirmed that the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Seitz Road and Manor Church Road. A motorcyclist was traveling in the area when they entered the intersection and the motorcycle was struck by a passenger vehicle. The motorcycle was badly damaged in the accident and the motorcyclist was thrown onto the ground as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been formally identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
