Collegeville, PA – Max Moliken Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Second Ave

Collegeville, PA (December 14, 2022) – Around 4 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 13, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Collegeville.

According to Collegeville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Second Avenue and Park Avenue. Police confirmed that a white Nissan was traveling in the area when it struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the street at the time. The driver remained at the scene of the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has since been identified as 21-year-old Max Moliken, was severely injured in the accident. He was flown to Jefferson University Hospital by medical helicopter, though his current condition is not yet known.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time following the accident.

No further details have been released, but the investigation remains ongoing.
