Cogan House Twp, PA – Richard Hafer Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Hunting Club RdLawPaWriter
Cogan House Township, PA (July 18, 2021) – On Friday morning, July 16, a man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Cogan House Township.
According to the Montoursville Police Department, the accident happened on Hunting Club Road. Police confirmed that 28-year-old Richard Hafer was riding his motorcycle in the area headed south when an SUV collided with his Harley. After the crash, his motorcycle traveled a short distance before coming to a stop.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help. Hafer was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of traumatic injuries. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and had minor injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
