Child injured in Hazelwood Auto-Pedestrian Accident
Hazelwood, Pennsylvania (September 4, 2017) – A child was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Hazelwood, Pittsburgh on Sunday evening.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at about 7:20 p.m. September 3, on Johnson Avenue in Hazelwood.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found a 10-year-old boy trapped underneath the vehicle.
The injured boy was extricated and transported to Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
The police are yet to establish the events preceding the accident.
The incident led to the closure of Johnson Avenue from Mansion Street to Roselle Court.
