Chambersburg, PA (September 13, 2023) – A crash reported in Franklin County ended in injuries.

The accident occurred just before 7:45 a.m. on September 12.

According to reports from the Franklin Fire Company, a red man and a silver sedan collided in the 2900 block of Edenville Road. The head-on collision resulted in one vehicle catching on fire. One person was trapped inside the second vehicle and had to be extricated.

One person was injured due to the crash. Air medical assistance was requested at the scene to transport the victim to a local hospital.
